The Association promotes the common good of the people of Bemis Park through building community, housing, recreation, environment, public safety, education, & public relations.

The Bemis Park Neighborhood Association includes the neighborhoods of Bemis Park & Mercer Park. The area is rich with history as represented by the Bemis Park Landmark Heritage District, the National Register of Historic Places Edgar Zabriskie House & Porter-Thomsen House, and a section of Omaha’s Historic Parks & Boulevards System. The boundaries also include four city parks: Walnut Hill Park, Mercer Park, Caroline Mercer Park, & Bemis Park.
